When we will have efficient education system?

Here is Pakistan we have lot of problems and issues and one from all issues is “Education Standards”. Education always plays a base role in every nation, if you have standardize, modern and advance education in your nation so you can give birth excellent names. But with old stuff, not useful material you can only produce dumps like us. For long time we are studying same syllabus and structure of exams and practicals.

Lower level of education in Pakistan

Lower level of education in Pakistan

If i could be control education system of Pakistan so i would love to change following things:

First i would like to remove differences in education at the level of Board, Schools and Colleges. Simply same studying material for every students, every means every!

Then i would like to remove political parties interfer from all colleges and universites. This is good to have some political activities, but we have no single good point for it!

Then i simply will create new syllabus which will be advance and modern. So our students can face abroad system and technologies without any extra effort. Most of our subjects based on flames but i would like students to learn something creative and innovative.

Then i simply change structure of exams, currently we have text based exams system there is no scenerio structure in our exams, and because of it we have 0% analytical skills.

Then i would like to involve sports activites in every institutions. Which will be helpful to work in team enviorment.

Then in the end i would like to announce free education to all over the Pakistan for School and College Life.

After implementing above points we can see, not a single students going to abroad for higher study, we will have lot scientist and inventor in our nation. Our economy will be increase. Our value will be higher in any industry of world.

But who think about this? I am just graduate from local university in karachi. And when i can think this so what the hell authorities doing? Just making money! Shit!

Champion Trophy in Pakistan? a fair opinion

Well i am Pakistani and living right now in karachi. I now very well current environments and condition in Pakistan and its cities and i support Champions Trophy should not conduct in Pakistan because there are lot of security threats in Pakistan right now.

CT in Pakistan or not?

CT in Pakistan or not?

In NWFP sector security forces are doing operation against terrorism, Other sectors such as Punjab and Sindh are completley black with political issues. In Balochistan there are also lot of disturbance between forces and extrisims. In all News TV channels of Pakistan showing bomb blasts events in thier Breaking news section. So simply its not secure to condutc 2nd major event of ICC in Pakistan.

Try to understand, terrorist activites becoming so fats now days and during this if any player GOD FORBIDS dies then Pakistan will have to face 10 years banned from Internation Cricket? Then what we will do? Just realize facts and figure of Pakistan they try to convince others for playing in nation!

Requests to everyone, kindly pray for Pakistan!

Muhammad Asif – a silly dog!

I dont know whay Asif is trying to defend his drug controversy. But i just know this is not a asif’s duty Cricket board should support Asif in this case, and if Asif is really involved in drugs cricket board should take harsh step against Asif and set an example for the others. Whats going on with our bowlers? First shoaib faced drug controversies and then Asif. Dont they know drug is not allowed in cricket also? Drug is always bad for you in any case whteher you playing or not but our bowlers always take these stuff.

A 2 years old Asif

A 2 years old Asif

I was reading The News and got a news about ‘B’ Sample positive just look how much Asif is confident?

“I am still confident that I will play for Pakistan and that day is not far away. I am very confident that I will be cleared of all charges.”

“I was well assisted by my lawyer Shahid Karim and my medical expert Dr Graham Durgan during these difficult times.”

Asif insisted. “I can assure everyone that I never took any banned substance or drugs to enhance my performance. Which is why I am still confident of being cleared in this case. We will fight it to the end,”

This is simply shit dude! we are not fool and we have open eyes what you are saying and why you are saying. I simply recommend PCB to forget ASIF at this stage otherwise Asif could be next Shoaib Akhter in attitute.

Anyways Good Luck for CT!

CDGK begins City Owner’s

Published on : http://www.regionaltimes.com/15aug2008/metro/cdgk.php

Karachi: Citizens of Karachi got themselves registered as “City Owners” on Thursday when good number of people including women responded to the appeal of City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal regarding voluntary community service for at least a couple of hours a week.

Festive mood was prevalent at the Civic Centre Lawn on 14th August-the first day of registration of city volunteers as thousands of people including laborers, students, artists, businessmen, sportsmen, government officers, elected representatives, office bearers of Arts Council, KATI, LATI, Baqai University, rickshaw/taxi drivers and even pesh imam received their membership card. City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal, City Naib Nazim Mrs. Nasreen Jalil and DCO Karachi Javed Hanif were also present on the occasion. Staff of City Government received registration forms from 10 am to 7pm on the first day. A total of 7050 forms were submitted on 14th August. Considering the rush of the people at the counter, the City Nazim also directed concerned department to set up the registration office at the ground floor of civic center on permanent basis.

Earlier the City Nazim and DCO Karachi also obtained their cards while standing in queue. Nazim Karachi remained at the venue throughout the day and inquired from the people, visiting registration counter, about their fields of interest. Most of the volunteers were included youths and common citizens while the City Naib Nazim Nasreen Jalil, Town Nazmeen, elected representatives, Secretary Arts Council of Pakistan Ahmed Shah and members of governing body, senior police officer Niaz Siddiqui, Lieutenant General (R) Saeed Azhar, Vice Chancellor Baqai University, Chairman Korangi Association of Trade and Industry, Shaikh Fazal Jalil, Vice Chairman Johar Qandhari and former Chairman Masood Naqi, Senior Vice Chairman Landhi Association of Trade and Industry Dawood Jhagora, Ashraf Tai, Behroz Subzwari, Hanif S. Kalia, Samiullah, Agha Masood Hussain, Nadia Khan, Saira Khan, Ambreen Khan, Azfar, Mani, Naila Jaffery and other renowned personalities also received their cards as “City Owners”.

Talking to media representatives on this occasion, City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal said that the citizens of Karachi could not asked for better gift than this on their Independence Day. He said that the volunteers will be issued with the same cards irrespective of their financial status or background and each one who would take the responsibility of protecting the trees or bus stop in front of their homes or business place will be the “City Owner”.

“We have installed beautiful bus stops in the city, now it is the duty of the citizens to come forward and protect these places while creating civic sense among the people. Instead of criticizing the government, citizens would now have to do practical work for at least two hours a week on voluntary basis like it happened in developed nations of the world,” he added. Nazim Karachi further said that we have constructed big parks and made the city green by planting millions of trees besides the construction of beautiful roads, flyovers and underpasses. It is now the responsibility of the peoples to guard their own assets. He said that a special section has been established at the city government for registration of “City Owners”. Instead of criticizing the government, its policies or projects, people should come forward and participate in the city’s development.

Protesters resort to rioting; several cops injured

A violent protest reportedly erupted over the old disputed Gutter Bagheecha land over which two groups had been disputing since long. On Sunday, the ‘Nisaar group’ blocked the Mewa Shah Road and resorted to firing at the police.

The police managed to control the situation after some hours, during which time a Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) MNA was also caught in the crossfire. He, however, escaped unhurt. Several constables including the SHO SITE sustained injuries during the protest.

According to sources, a dispute was going on between various parties, including the Nisaar Baloch group, for the past many months regarding the ownership of Gattar Bagheecha land. Recently, a court issued orders in favour of one such group to construct the KMC Society. However, the opponent Nisaar Baloch group started disputing the claim.

SSP Ishfaq Alam of SITE Town said that negotiations were underway for the past 10 to 15 days between various parties and Nisaar was asked to produce ownership papers of the plot. He refused to do so, but continued disputing the rival group’s claim. Several FIRs were also being lodged in this regard, SSP Alam mentioned.

According to eyewitnesses and police sources, the Nisaar Baloch group blocked the Pak Colony Road adjacent to the Mewa Shah graveyard on Sunday afternoon. Since it was the eve of Shab-e-Baraat, there was an unusual rush of people and heavy movement of vehicles at the graveyard.

In the meantime, a heavy contingent of police reached the spot and asked the protestors to clear the road. The mob, however, threw stones at the police and later resorted to aerial firing.

The police lobbed teargas shells to disperse the mob, which refused to budge. Meanwhile, SP SITE Town reached the spot and stopped the police from tear gassing. He asked the leaders of the protesting group to come in for talks but they refused and again opened fire. Sensing danger, SSP Alam moved away in his car and the police again started shelling.

Following this violent act by the Nisaar Baloch group, SSP Alam immediately asked the traffic police to block the road from Bara Board and divert traffic.

The protesters, however, continued to fire at the police during which SHO SITE Liaquat Ali Dogar and several other policemen were injuted. Later, the elders of the community approached the police and pacified the situation. But after a few minutes the mob again came on to the road and resorted to pelting stones and aerial firing.

The SP SITE said that during the firing incident, MQM MNA Hyder Abbas Rizvi also came under attack due to which an escort constable Mohammed Younus got injured. However, the police kept on resisting the protesters and the situation was brought under control after several hours.

Pervez Musharraf resigns as president of Pakistan

Image captured while addressing with nation

Pakistan’s president, Pervez Musharraf, today bowed to intense pressure and resigned ahead of impeachment proceedings due to start this week.

Musharraf appeared live on national television just after 1pm local time (8am BST) in an address that lasted for over an hour. As the former army commander finished putting an end to almost nine years in power, his voice trembled and he appeared to have tears in his eyes.

“If I was doing this just for myself, I might have chosen a different course,” he said, wearing a western suit and tie but speaking in Urdu. “But I put Pakistan first, as always.

“Whether I win or lose the impeachment, the dignity of the nation would be damaged, the office of the president harmed.”

It is likely that Musharraf stepped down as a part of a western-mediated deal between the president and the coalition government according to which all charges against him will be dropped in return for his resignation.

It was a humiliation nevertheless for the ex-army chief to have to submit to the very politicians he hated. But he admitted he had been left with no choice.

“Even if I beat this impeachment, relations between the presidency and the government can never be fixed,” he said. “Pillars of the state – parliament and the judiciary – would be harmed and, God forbid, the army might have been dragged in.” He added that he wanted the people to be his judge.

Musharraf, who was an almost absolute ruler until he stepped down as army chief in November last year and held elections this February, did not leave without first launching into an impassioned and lengthy defence of his record. He said the allegations made against him were “lies”.

Musharraf laid the blame for Pakistan’s current economic crisis squarely on the current government, saying that just eight months ago the economy was booming and Pakistan was regarded as one of the next great emerging market success stories.

“When I took over, nine years ago, this country was on the verge of being declared a terrorist state, on the verge of becoming a failed state,” he said. “The challenges of the last nine years have been greater than any in Pakistan’s history, yet have I met those challenges.”

Most members of the coalition government did not want to go through the trauma of impeachment proceedings, hoping that the mere threat of prosecution would be enough to persuade the president to go. However, Musharraf held out for almost two weeks after the announcement that the government had decided to impeach him. His resignation today came just a couple of hours ahead of the scheduled start of formal parliamentary proceedings.

Reza Rabbani, a leading member of the Pakistan People’s party, one of the two big parties in the coalition, said: “This is the first time in Pakistan’s political history where you have the people winning against establishment institutions.”

Pakistan’s army, which has ruled the country for more than half its tumultuous history, had quietly told Musharraf that it would not back him if he decided to fight the impeachment, stripping him of the only backing that might have saved him. Similarly, his close allies the US, Britain and Saudi Arabia indicated to the president that it was time to go. However, those international allies are thought to have put pressure on the Pakistani government to let him resign before impeachment.

Musharraf seized power in October 1999, when he staged a coup that deposed the then prime minister, Nawaz Sharif. Now back in government as part of the coalition, Sharif was the prime mover behind the impeachment.

Who are Taliban and what they are doing in Pakistan?

Its a simple group which is doing thier personal work in the name of Allah and Islam, and just because of it we as a Muslim nation can not stay in the peace. They think we have forget Islam and they kill also us in the name of Munafiqeen. But you will be amazed that Taliban and normal Muslim is learning same Quran, same Ahadees and same other materials but we are following Islam in different direction. how is it possible? It is because every person have a ability to think we think Taliban and thier attitute is completley wrong and rubbish. And taliban thinks we are not a good Muslim. :) What to do with this different?

Taliban Truck

Taliban Truck

Well recently Taliban is now in Pakistan, before few time they were active in Afghanistan and Iraq. Kindly notice my point, When America wanted to attack on Afghanistan then America arraised Taliban issue in Afghanistan then after some time America wanted to attack on Iraq then again America arraised Taliban’s issue, and now its very obvious America want to attack on Pakistan or Iran, because Pakistan is single point from where America can attack easily on Iran or may be white dogs can bite Pakistan too, actually they are but not from weapons.. :) . Open your eyes and see isnt Taliban look like a part of American strategy? From me they are. So dont blame on Muslims, because Islam is always against this rubbish things.

So Taliban is now in Peshawara in daily news we read about dispute between Security forces and Talibans, security forces contains Muslims Pakistanis. There is no single American only thier strategy exists. I dont know what is going on recently Altaf Hussain announced Taliban presence in Karachi. Right now complete Karachi actually complete Pakistan is in the fear of Taliban.

Where is government? They are on vistits in Dubai, America, London and etc. Lolz.. This is our shit government everyone is corrupted. Shehzad roy defined this thing with cool words “Naik woh ha jisko moqa nahi mila” :D lolz here we are facing disputes and other issue and there our prime minister is visting other countries. Whts the difference between you and previous governement? How the hell government can allow these peoples to enter in country? Where is security? Should we left hopes for security from these kind of threats? I feel very guilty that i voted that party which is wrong and doing nothing for us.

In the end, i simply stand with my view “It is government offical responsibility to protect country from these kind of threats.” Still have hopes..!

Ye Hum Nahi – { Say no to terrorism }

Ye Hum Nahi (This is not us) is a promotion running by Waseem Mahmoood and a number famous peoples. Pakistani singers have choosedn to join hands and raise their voice on behalf of the Muslim world through a soul touching sound track, featuring names like Haroon, Ali Haider, Ali Zafar, Shufqat, Strings, Shuja Haider and Hadiqa Kiani.

Yeh hum nahi

Yeh hum nahi

Since the tragic events of 9/11, Muslims are facing lot problems in all over the world, and America is completing his mission against muslims in the name of Attack on World Trade Center. America attacked on Afghanistan, Iraq and now they are trying to shut down nuclear programm in Iran right now. But no one will see it. Everyone is watching muslims with wrong points. Its fact 9/11 event was from Muslims but we are also muslims and we are trying to say that All Muslims are not terrorists. And we all being a muslim do not accept that attack it was wrong and it was completley rubbish.

The song was recorded during a three month period from November 2006 to January 2007 at Sound of Speed studios in Karachi.

Waseem, veteran award winning director who has worked with some of the biggest names names in the industry, describes the video as “For me the glamour of the video was in assembling the biggest star cast ever seen in Pakistan in one single shot, something that had never been achieved before. Mahsallah, the response to the video has been amazing – I have been inundated with messages of support and congratulations from young Pakistanis around the world who have thanked me for standing up and giving voice to their sentiments. The response from the international music industry has been equally humbling – major stars, many of whom I have idolized myself have contacted me to say how much they loved the song and video and would like to collaborate with us on an English version… I guess that we must have done something right!”

I appreciate this effort from great Pakistanis. First Shehzad roy hard hitting song and then Yeh hum nahi, both are good and no comparison between them..

Simply salute team of Yeh Hum Nahi, and promoters such as Mani & Azfar, All FM channels, GEO TV, Youtube Users. Thanks to all to promote this effort world widley!

Pakistan’s’ Issues

When our leader will understand on our real issues? When our leader grow up? When our leader will leave thier personal politics? When we will see another Quaid-e-Azam in our country? Doesnt we need another great leader? When? When? Sometimes it hurts but still question is when and how?

Is musharaf impeachement is solutions for high prices? can judges resove electricity issues? can all these current system give us security against street crimes? I think No. They can not actually they are not able to do it.

I laughed when PPP member Shery says “impeachment to be a historic moment” , i asked is it really need to do this? is this good image for Pakistan? i agree if she says “Impeachment to be a worst historic moment”. I dont know what they are doing, in the time of election they commit lot of things to us but after winning they forget all stuff.

I think they know very well about real issues in Pakistan but no one care about it. All politicals are busy with thier personal issues such as NAWAZ SHARIF. Actually its all our mistakes? Once a person who was selling assets of Pakistan to other countries and government punished him and now we, natives of Pakistan again choosed that persoan as our leader? This is bullshit. I strongly recommend to keep strictness in election points, i bet peoples with some brain can never vote these idiots.

Well i prioritized some issue according to me and peoples around me, and i believe any Pakistani will be agree with it.

1. High Prices
High prices like sky rocketing should be avoid, so peoples who earn daily 200 rs or 300 rs can take food with thier families easily. Isnt it huge issue compare to judges stuff?

2. Modify & Control Education Sector
So our new generation which are under training stage, can lead Pakistan i right and update direction? Who will be next Abdul Qadeer? Any one thinks what will happen after death of Zardari, Altaf Hussain, Nawaz Sharif? who will lead Pakistan? No answer i bet. Isnt it huge issue compare to musharraf impeachment?

3. Economical State
In latest report i read somewhere on media, we are 11% in the inflation, are we going to kill our currency value such as Zimbave? Where are revenues? We have lot of industries and foriegn investments where it goes? is it enough to keep your economic value in standard format? Isnt it huge issue compare to personal politics?

 4. Electricity
Since start KESC had great issue of shoratge power and WAPDA was inn some establish state but now both are in the state of power shortage, and because of it All Pakistan is facing unplanned load shedding for unlimied time. In one week we can read a news about failure of Bin Qasim Power of KESC. Why? KESC established on 1959 and now its 2008 and they only have 2 power units to provide electricity in all Karachi. :D Its ok you are not able to devlop more power units, but you also cant even maintain these units since 1959 to 2008? Isnt it majore issue comapre to NAWAZ and MQM affairs?

5. Water Supply
I really get anger when i go to take bath and find no water in lines. This is bullshit and its enough for a normal person. If water comes so it surley not able to use. What the hell it is? I know City govt of karachi did lot of work but it is not enough because they are just working on previous plans, but i appreciate thier efforts. But still some areas in Pakistan there is no name of verified water, and because of this lot of peoples die every day. Should’nt it resolve before impeachment?

6. GAS Supply
This is single asset where Pakistani can rely for 10 to 20 years but what will happen after this? Any contigency plan? any backup? SSGC is well mannered organization and perofrming thier work very well but Government still need to plan for future. Due to shortage of electricity peoples buys GAS based generators and use Gas, because of it SSGC face majore shortage problem because they didnt expect use of GAS in this way. What about it government cartoons?

7. Security of common native?
It is really hurtfull moment when you standing outside of your home and few peoples comes and snatched your accessories. I myself faced this damnd thing. Where is law? Where is police? Shouldnt it fix earlier?

8. Employment
Where are industries and investment for our peoples? Why our graduate open mobile shop, internet cafe, or photo copier store? Why government dont create oppurtinity? Why our youngsters moving to abroad? Why ducksss why? :@

9. Law Implementation
Well let me tell you we have complete documented policies and laws, but they all stored in thier offices. Not implemented. Law implementation is simple and single solutions to take Pakistan to top of the world. It can resolve all corruption issues in all above headings. Why dont we punish a person who break signal? Why traffic police relies on illegal money instead to following proper law against criminal? Why education bastards taking money from students for good result? Why universities feeses are so high? Why some peoples make disasters in the name ALLAH? This is all because we do not implement law or we do not follow the law. Isnt it really need to implement compare to judges recovery and musharraf impeachment?

There are lot of WHY, WHEN and HOW in youth’s mind but we know answer. I request just give us chance.

Ending topic with the hope of good morning.

Thanks & Regards,

Shehzad roy’s New Album

Published on: The News International – No. 1 English Newspaper from Pakistan

Shehzad Roy Qismat Apnay Haath MeiN
Shehzad Roy Qismat Apnay Haath MeiN

Hello everyone, recently Shehzad Roy a pop singer hailing from Karachi, Pakistan launched his new albumn “Qismat Apnay Haath Mein” at Juvenile Jail with all the media in attendance and boys from one prison cell who were brought in. They were a rapt audience as they are very entertainement starved. Shehzad Roy’s initiative changed that and they became the first Pakistanis to hear songs from the newly released album and watch the Ahsan Rahim directed-video that has created such a stir within a day of it’s release.

Shehzad Roy is the man who set up a non profit for street children and education (The Zindagi Trust), who brought Bryan Adams to Pakistan, and who is now set to make an even bigger splash with the groundbreaking album ‘Qismat Apnay Haat Mein’. We’re predicting this will be the album of the year, and if the way the album was launched is anything to go by, we have even more good reason to say so.

The launch itself – at the jail – was an experience and a half. After thorough checks by the prison police, the press was led into a small room where the launch would take place. Azfar Ali and Mani as emcees introduced the album, while Dr. Yazdani of Fire Records (which is releasing the album) and Wajahat Rauf of Aag TV spoke briefly about the album and their support of it. Shehzad Roy appeared on stage to introduce the album – but the focal point of his words were about why he’d chosen to launch it at the Juvenile Jail. Shehzad has been involved through The Zindagi Trust on rehabilitation and education of the young prisoners, and felt that the issues he has highlighted in the album are relevant to his work with the prisoners.

Shehzad then screened the first video for this album – ‘Laga Reh’. Directed by the talented Ahsan Rahim, this video is one of the most hard hitting, current videos out there and will strike a chord with every Pakistani. It is a blistering social commentary on the current mindset Pakistanis have with dealing with the number of problems and issues in society – from the politicians and their promises, to the lawyers’ movement, to the ‘Allah pe chhor do’ mentality, to ‘foreign hands’ snatching away people in the middle of the night. Featuring cameos from Ali Azmat, Mani, Faisal Qureshi and even Ahsan Rahim – this video marks a comeback for both the director and Shehzad Roy. This video says all the things that everyone talks about in their drawing rooms and in dhaabas, but instead it’s been out there in the open – on a TV screen, being sung in technicolor. There was a volley of applause as the video ended, and the buzz began to increase about what lies in the album itself.

After the launch, a jail official who asked to be kept anonymous, said that he would have been delighted to have had all 300 youth inmates attend the launch, but this was not possible due to space constraints. He added that the administration would be glad to have an event such as a concert or movie screening held at the jail ground for all the inmates.

In the same way that Shehzad Roy brought a sparkle of life outside the jail cells into the prison, this could serve to be a great stepping stone for other musicians and entertainers to hold concerts for this segment of society. These children also deserve to have the same kind of entertainment that is available to the rest of the country, and as Shehzad said, rehabilitation is essential for prisoners. Are musicians taking note?

Shehzad’s primary objective with this album is to get people to think about who are the people who have taken the future into their hands – and these are the protagonists who are shown in the video for ‘Laga Reh’ as well. This album also marks a first for Shehzad who has written the entire album himself, contrary to when he would only do basic ideas and turn it over to songwriters. He says this process came about as a result of his work with The Zindagi Trust, and with all the issues and frustration that come about when one is trying to reform existing systems. Shehzad realized that this never appeared in his music – which has always been focused on love and romance, and that it needed to be brought to a larger audience. This is why half of the album deals with themes that are relevant to Pakistanis today, while the other is still centered on love and the ilk.

The day after the launch, Shehzad appeared to be slightly cautious about the ‘reaction’ to the album – while he’s had positive feedback so far and is hoping that people will start thinking about the main theme ‘who has taken our future into their hands’ – the strongly worded, relevant lyrics and the hard hitting video have given him good reason to be so. While this may bring about issues with potential sponsors among others, Shahzad’s heart appears to be in the right place. As the last line of the ‘Laga Reh’ video says: “Qaum ko na jagao, yeh kisi zaroori kaam se sorahay hain” (Don’t wake the nation, sleep is important work for them)- here’s to hoping that this thought provoking album and video will get people talking and thinking about the issues that matter.

The video of the year? Shehzad Roy is scared: ‘mujhe darr yeh nahee hai ke yeh mulk aisay kyun chal raha hai..darr yeh hai ke kaheen aisay hi na chalta rahe’ (I’m not afraid that the country is running in this manner, I’m scared that it will carry on to do so) Shehzad Roy’s ‘Laga Reh’ strikes a chord as he seems to speak for all of us!

Well in the end i simply say it should be the best Album of year, and it should be useful for Pakistani youth. InshAllah
